Our Product

OUR METHOD As you may know, at the Aberfoyle Butcher, we are very selective of the product used. Therefore we only use produce which has been naturally raised, grass-fed or organic, and from native or rare breeds.

We then condition the meat to reach perfect maturity on the bone in the old fashioned way. Next our butchers utilize a mix of traditional and continental cutting techniques to enhance the eating quality of the meat. This approach will culminate in delivering a product which is reflective of excellence, commitment and passion.

Quality Meat Scotland operate an assurance scheme and is responsible for the product integrity of Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork, and we are pleased to say that our products come with this assurance. As a result our beef and lamb have Protected Geographical Indicator (PGI) Status.
